One Grand started operating as a family business in Hollywood, California, in 1933. The company began with one product, its pink, chrome polish, which quickly established itself as the industry standard and it grew from there.

The family at One Grand spent decades developing and refining its products, while growing its distribution and gaining a tremendous reputation for One Grand's superb quality and friendly, reliable service.

On January 1, 1989 One Grand's European Distributor, Car Care Products Group, was awarded the Royal Seal. The Royal Seal with the inscription, "By Appointment to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II" was granted in recognition of service and products supplied to The Royal Mews over an uninterrupted period of five years. The Royal Mews is that branch which maintains the Automobiles and Royal Carriages of Buckingham Palace where One Grand Products are used.

John and Rick Hermann continue today to provide handcrafted polishes, waxes, and cleaners that are used by enthusiasts and detailers everywhere. We have personally known them for over 12 years and can attest to their product quality.
